What in the world are they thinking?

Talk about anything in here.

Guahhhhhhhhh, I cant even look in the light at the eye doctors, (not to mention getting eye drops), and let alone have somthing put into my eye PERMINANTLY!!!!!!

You cant even see the "thing" unless the person looks off in some random direction!?!?!?!

One word: Ludicrous.
Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.
- J. Hudson Taylor
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

I WANNA PIERCE MY BRAIN!

...

No, really, that's insane. Putting things into one's eye is generally discouraged...

My thoughts exactly. How disgusting! The human eye is a beautiful thing, each one unique in its own way...
I wonder what optometrists are saying about this. It can't be healthy!

That's just gross, supposedly that doctor claimed there have been no reports of any side effects..he could be lying. I mean seriously, to have something implanted on the membrane of your eye. That has to do some major damage including altering your vision.

Ewwww.

Dear God...

I'm at a loss for words here....

I've heard of some pretty moronic fads before, but this really takes the cake. *shudders*

Just a thought: Eyes naturally come with irises in different colors around the pupils. They're functional, practical, beautiful, unique, and, best of all, God-made! What more do we need?

One of the most gross and painful and inconvient things in the world must be to have you eye bleeding because you had a doctor put a piece of stinkin metal in there that you certainly arent going to be able to get out without more damaging surgery... *shudder*

*shudder*shudder*shudder*

I mean, I hate having to wear braces.. on my teeth.. but on your eye?? Its totally insane! lol I can only feel the braces with my gums, not my teeth, but the eye is one of, if not THE most sensitive part of the human body!

Paying hundreds of dollars to look... like that?!

Still... I don't think I'm that surprised.
