Would You Let This Happen?

It's not really my right to say, so I'm not going to tell you what my relationship is with this person, but I know someone who went to jail for selling drugs. He very well DID turn his life around in there. He lost part of his family over this, his wife divorced him, took their kids, moved them to another state and poisoned them against him even when he got out of jail and tried to make things right. He lives as respectable a life he can now and thankfully the companies he's worked for did hire him despite his record. Sometimes getting caught and getting sent to jail, perhaps even loosing everything is what it takes to wake someone up and make then realize how wrong they really are. Thankfully most of his kids do talk to him again now and have a relationship with him, despite being in different states. They are all grown up now after all. Knowing this person like I do, sometimes I think his going to jail must have been a dream, it seems so unreal.
