What do you think of the Burger King?

Talk about anything in here.

Yes, that was on Family Guy and I think that could be rip from it. It sure did sound like Peter's voice.

Yeah, I didn't even watch the video until now. That was a rip off of a Family Guy clip, though a different voice was used. The original clip was only mildly amusing, which makes this...basically just annoying. XD

animedude90 wrote:Also I don't like they new commercial Wendy's is using to show they use unfrozen beef. You know the one where everybody is kicking the trees and the one guy figures out not to do what the others are doing and then says he wants a hot juicy burger. And then convinces everyone else to do the same. But I do know why the guy has red pony tails on. Its because of Wendy the mascot for Wendy's. Wendy is the founders daughter.

So you're saying you hate a commercial because it has a guy with red hair and pony tails? That doesn't make too much sense.

And Mcdonalds are weird only charging a burger for a buck. It makes me think what do they put into these things? Well im not going to buy them. Cheap burgers=bad health. Not that good burgers are good for you, I just mean that cheap burgers might make you sick.

Please explain how a dollar burger = bad for you (As opposed to a $3.49 burger being healthier for you). I used to work in fast food. The ingredients are the same, they just use smaller meat. They don't add in stuff like rat poison or toxic waste or anything. Your making a rather outrageous claim here.

The reason why every fast food restaurant has a dollar menu is because it's a marketing technique in order to attract customers into buying combo meals next time (Here's a tidbit: Most fast food chains don't many any money off their dollar-menu items, especially sandwiches. They make money off their combo meals). Fast Food places also lose money from Kid's Meals. Why do they sell them? So those kids come back in future years when they are big enough to purchase their triple sized combos and get fat and overweight. Also, why do you think they ask "Would you like to super-size that for only 49 cents extra!"? Because it all exponentially adds up, and boosts profit.

I do like Burger King, but I haven't eaten there in a while. There food is good, but I think some of their burgers have heart attack written all over them.

That's like every Fast-Food restaurant dude.

I don't think the King is evil or a psychopath. He's just misunderstood.

I would never regularly eat at BK, though. McDonald's is slightly better, but that is not a compliment to McDoh (as we call it in the Filluhpeens).

On a completely different topic though somewhat related, I changed my avatar and profile picture.

Like, YAY!!!!!!! Someone else who knows was Fuddruckers is!!!!!!!! I haven't been to one of those in a veeery long time.

But back to Burger King, I think they're regular Whopper is the best. While "the king" does look insanely stupid, I just ignore the ads.

BTW, has anyone seen an interesting pic on DeviantArt that's called "Wake Up With the King" (or something like that)? In short, it's got Yomi from Azumanga Daioh waking up practically screaming because "the king" is standing next to her bed offering her an Eggnormous Omelet sandwich. XD

When I was in college in Iowa I used to eat at Hardee's.They have great curly fries. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

I hope Burger King knows the difference between a breed of cow and a part of the cow.(For one last time an Angus is a breed of cow as in Black Angus.)
I wouldn't be pushing the point except that when my maternal grandparents were alive they raised Black Angus.

That's interesting...I guess that almost like them saying that they've got holstein burgers or something. Sounds weird and doesn't make sense.

LOL creepy mascot!!

Well, I used to eat out like all the time! D: Usually it was at MCDs but I really don't like to eat there any more...nor do I really like to eat at burger king.

I gave up red meat a couple months ago, so the taste of the burgers doesn't appeal to me anymore. *shrugs*

I usually just get a grilled chicken sammich XD And the chicken from the restuaraunts I go to, usually tastes the same. *shrugs*

I can't decide who is creepier, the Macdonald's Mascot or Burger Kings?

One of them spends a lot of time with kids...does that make him less creepy? Or moreso?

I'd have to say the Burger King is worse, because he always shows up in the strangest places with that sadistic grin on his face, shoving high-calorie food at you on a tray.

Doesn't mean the food's bad, though. :D

Actually I heard about Whataburger from a christian biography we read in school. It was about a guy from texas who became an astronaut and then later the ship blew up in the air coming back down from a mission. It was sad, but we got over it. The book was called A Higher Calling.

No, the family guy skit came from that, which started as a song and later became that animation on albinoblacksheep that later became that youtube video that later became the family guy skit... It has a history. That song used to play on the Dr Demento show, and ran with a fast food themed run, I believe, including 2 different "Bye, bye, bye" parodies both called "Fries, Fries, Fries"

In-N-out is the best chain burger place on earth.

The meat is never frozen
The fries are real potatoes, 100%
The employees are well paid for fast food
They all get benefits...
Their secret sauce is actually worth getting.
The hidden menu is awesome, and NO Mechana didn't teach me about the hidden menu, he only taught me about neopolitan shakes. I knew about animal style, 2x2, 3x3, 4x4 (I think they go up to 10x10, though it depends on the store) and animal style fries before I met him.

Oh, and the Quizznos ads started on the internet, too... http://www.rathergood.com/moon_song/ This came BEFORE the quizznos commercials... I don't know HOW or WHY Quizznos bought them out... Some of the stuff on that site is dirty, though.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evcNPfZlrZs Watch this movie なう。 It's legal, free... And it's more than its premise. It's not saying Fast Food is good food. Just watch it.

Poor Burger King.

All he wants is for everyone in the world to have a tasty sandwich.

And everyone hates him for some reason.

Sure, he may stalk you in dark alleys at night, and maybe he'll suddenly pop up out of nowhere while you are taking a shower, and perhaps you will wake up one morning with a surprise guest next to you in bed, but his intentions are good. He only has the best interests of your taste buds in mind.

Give the man a break, people.

There was also another funny Burger king commercial. It was some country tender crisp chicken bacon cheader ranch sandwich commercial where there were those girls and Hootie playing a guitar singing to it. I think I remember them saying that the sandwiches grow on trees. It was really weird, my sister got very annoyed by it.

Here it is anyway...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1tLzUlK4EI&mode=related&search=
