A little advice needed for a hopelessly clueless guy.

Aye, yeah. The thing is, I've already gotten it made. I did so yesterday - there are pictures further up. It has our names on it, and the saying, "E.S.T. (Ever since time) 03-27-07" which is when I asked her out. So she can look at it anytime and still remember that day. What I'm asking now is if you all think it turned out well.

Haha. Yeah...I just got back from the 4-H trip. I gave it to her Friday night when I could get a chance to get her alone. She liked it, very much so. The trip was awesome, BTW. Me and her were on the same team, so when the activities came, we were always together. And then the dance on Saturday night was proba bly my favorite part. It was teh first time I had ever slow danced, and the most I had ever danced at one time, as well. My legs hurt when it was over with, but that one slow dance, I wasn't sure I would amke it through. Lol. My legs felt like jello, haha.

It certainly looks like it all went well. The gift looks lovely and the words you used works fine. Most importantly, she liked it.
Your legs hurt after a slow dance? LOL That should only happen with a fast-paced salsa non-stop for 2 hours.

Lol, yeah. But my legs hurt after the whole dance, not teh slow dance. We did the Cotton Eyed Joe...three times? THe dance lasted from nine PM until 1:15 AM, with a one hour break to play Putt Putt. So I was rather tired, lol.
Note: What I meant about that slow dance was just the closeness we felt then. I can't readily express in words what it felt like.
