Did anyone notice Dexiz (the man pictured) is wearing turtle shells as his shoulder armour? I like originality, especially if people say its weird! (lol)

No, I didn't notice that.

And, to put in my two cents about an earlier point, I wouldn't add a fake publishing name. Not very classy, IMO.

Maybe a one or two line synopsis that could grab the reader, though.

Actually, what would be better at the bottom is a quote of a famous magazine's rave reviews :D

Seriously. Oh, and I like....er...I like black the best...but the other ones are SO COOL!!! *likes green and blue too* actually, if this is going to be one of a series, it doesn't really matter, the other covers could be in the same vein but in different colors.

The faceless thing is a good idea too. Makes you want to pick it up and find out how he looks like...or why he looks that way. XD

It's artistic. ;) :P

I like the idea of a synopsis. That's another thing that would grab my attention and pull me in.

SirThinks2Much, its not in a series but thanks for the idea!

Yukinon, I will have a synopsis. But aren't they traditionally on the back cover? Thanks!

Good to see you aswell buddy.

Warrior 4 Jesus wrote:Its a Christian novel in the sense that its written by a Christian (in more ways then one) lol. A Christian world-view is taken and questions of faith and Christian themes are discussed etc but I want it to be fairly subtle.

Firstly ... nice pun :thumb: My question was raised because I thought your character becomes a christian in the novel, thats what I remember from your pm, thats not really subtle is it, how can it be? Unless its really allegorical ie Mr Lewis style.

But thats cool otherwise, keep it up, and I was pretty sure that was a breather btw. ;)

Hi Zane! I guess its not really that subtle. Its not set in our world, so they aren't called Christians but they are very much the same and there is a Shepherd (wonder who that is?) lol.

The detailed synopsis usually is on the back cover. However, I was referring more to the one or two line synopsis that GP mentioned. Sort of like the tagline on a movie poster, you know?

Oh, okay. Got you. Thanks Yukinon!

What about this for a 'tagline?'

Hope remains.

I think she means something like;

Turtle-shell shoulder pads.
Here come the complaints....

That's awesome Zane! (lol)

By the way, to all you animal lovers out there (I'm one to) in no way am I advocating the idea that you should use turtle shells for shoulder pads. I just thought it was a cool idea and also the mines where the guards and people live isn't exactly a pleasant place to be.
