Because a baby walks on all fours, a man walks on two legs, and an old man walks with a cane.
--To Write Love on Her Arms

"That time and absence proves - Rather helps than hurts to love."

"Feelings, emotions, they are good, but they cannot be Love's foundation. When of Love, these things last. When of romance, these things end."

"Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get, it's what you are expected to give -- which is everything."

I'll leave your triple post up for now; try not to do so.

Which riddle do you want to know if I knew the answer to? If you mean the jug riddle, I never gave it any thought. If you refer to the Sphinx riddle, yes. As has been previously stated, early in his life man crawls on all four limbs, the middle of his life he walks upon two legs, and in the nighttime of his life he uses a cane. Classic stuff.

Let me see if I can fix the communication issue regarding the jug riddle. ZiP: your solution does not work because there is not a jug that can hold all eight gallons. If not for this detail, yes, your method would be much simpler.

here's a really easy one. Bob and ernie were both born at the same time, the same month, and the same day. They both have the same parents and yet they are not twins. why is this?
