Yes, I realize that the Holy Trinity is an important and necessary belief for us. But personally, I don't think lack of this belief necessarily precludes one from salvation. As long as they believe Jesus Christ was sent by God to die on the cross for our sins, what they believe of Jesus' relationship with God is not sufficient for me to reject their entire faith completely.

I hope you realize those two statements totally contradict each other. In one you say the belief of the trinity is essential, yet in the other it's not. I would also like to point out gently John 14:6 which says volumes on this subject. I could allow this thread to go into great detail about how if Christ was not God his death would be pointless, but CAA is not a place for such theological debates. I hate to do this because this thread did seem to be going nicely, but I don't think any further good will come of it. If you want to speak further, PM me.
