Thanks, Kokoro and Shiroi! X3 X3 Your avatars are cute too! ^_^ Oh Hyde, he looks cute in almost anything!

I have some PMs, threads and emails to reply here in CAA but I'm tired from all the moving out and poster writing that I'm only in the mood to make silly pics. :P

With that, I present Santa Itachi, the meanest and freakiest Santa in town! I sure don't want this Santa visiting me *barricades her chimney* XD;;

And Sasuke is never in the Christmas spirit....

Thanks, Hitokiri, for this thread. I wasn't really into the whole Christmas mood today but this is kinda fun, seeing members have Santa hats on their avatars. It's also nice of you to 'Santa-nize' avatars for ppl ^_~

Technomancer, that is sooo cool!

Esoteric, I like your avatar even if you do look suspiciously like a reindeer :)

People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

I wasn't going to change mine...but you guys are getting me in the christmas-y mood. So tell you what. I'll change it for 24 hours--in that time, PM me with your opinions (and suggestions for diff. ones if you want), and we'll let you guys decide if it stays up or not.

Ready, Set, PM!

*goes off in search of her own Christmas Avatar* BTW, I like the new avatar, Ash.

*Returns from Search* Okay, where did you guys get your Christmas avatars!? I can't find any good ones!
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Its too early to celebrate Christmas. Its just going along with commercialism. Christmas begins Christmas Eve and continues for many days after that (for Christians).

Actually...

Christmas DOESN'T begin Christmas Eve. Jesus was almost certainly born in spring or summer, since shepherds were tending their flocks. The only reason Christmas is in December is because the church wanted to entice pagans to become Christian. Therefore, many Christian celebrations were placed on the dates of pagan holidays, this particular one being the pagan holiday of Yuletide.

So, technically, NO ONE should have Christmas avatars, since Christmas was never in December in the first place.

Of course, I was being sarcastic in that last statement. Everyone is merely in the holiday mood, and there's nothing wrong with that, eh?

Actually, you are technically right. Christmas begins at dusk on Christmas eve. The season we are currently in is Advent, the time of preparation for the coming of the Lord, so it is still appropriate to have Christmas decorations and the like.

I'm just wondering what that is. i think the best time to be on a forum is during Christmas just because of all the holiday cheer.

I do dislike the xommercial aspect of Christmas but still doesn't mean we can't celebrate our Savior's birth on Christmas. Nor does it mean we can't have fun :) I love Christmas avatars.

If this infringes on anything, than I'm sorry.

I completely agree with everything you've said here.
And on that note, later today, my Saitou avatar is getting reindeer antlers. This is going to be rad.
