That sounds like the movie 13 going on 30. I think I'd be kind of down... I'd be almost 30 and have missed college completely. And what if I was living in a van down by the river... with no job... or... like kae says in the post after mine... I could be dead... that WOULD suck.

I would go ten years into the future, and then spend ten years building a time machine to send myself 19 years back in the past, and then I'd still be in the future, because 19 years in the past I'd have already traveled to the future, so I'd have to go 21 years back, and die, so I'd never end up going into the future.

That sounds like a rather nightmarish situation. Imagine loosing 10 years of your life for no good definable reason and finding out that everyone has literally moved on. Hmmm. Might make a good movie...

Frankly, there's really no point in asking anything, ever, because logic can probably prove the whole issue as a waste of time, but I think that asking oneself such odd questions brings the mind to be more open. It stetches you, and brings you to new ideas. Thinking is the most important thing in anything you do, and like anything else, you must excercise your mind by things like reading, and considering things you've never thought of before.

If I could go back 30 years to 1976 I would only be 17,which means I could redo the last 30 years of my life all over again.I think IF I could do that I would make some definite changes.Hopefully for the better.

Acually I'd be excited! By then I'd be married to Mike and enjoying ministry in the mission feild! I'd miss all the memories but that time of life would be amazing!

Let's see, in 10 years I'll be 27. That's not very old... I hope I don't have kids yet, but I do I hope that I'm recently married. I wouldn't mind skipping all of the work I'll have to do in college, but at the same time, I'd miss the experience of college and being in my twenties.

That's a pretty good outlook, ML. I'm always stressing about what might happen. I suppose alot of us should just chill and take it as it comes. Although, let's not take it to the extreme. You've got to have some planning and direction...

If I would all of a sudden wake up an be 26 how would I feel? Surprised, maybe along the lines of:

*Some guy is serving me breakfast, doing house chores and cleaning up*

me: "and that?"

No, I have not wondered that, because the only ways that would be possible is through major memory loss requiring a severely traumatic experience, physical or psychological, or my being in a persistent vegitative state for the perscribed period of time. Both of these possibilities are so unlikely there is no reason to ponder them. Unless I suffer a stroke or develop Alzheimers in my old age, in such case memory loss is probably a secondary concern anyhow.
