God-willing, it won't happen any time soon, but if CAA were to shut down today, what would you miss the most about our wonderful interenet abode?

Probably the Roleplay boards cause that's where I spend the most time. But I would be so devastated not to have a place where I can get Christian opinions on anime and manga. It's so great that we can talk about anime and everything and avoid topics about hentai and yaoi and not get flamed about it.

Nice Topic RD-Chan!!!

Lets see if CAA were shut down...well, I would miss my EGHS friends a lot. ST, AH, and FaithFighter are so cool.

But I would also miss everyone else from the Chat and Bump Thread and the others I interact with.

So I guess the fellowship....

I would also miss the RPG boards, and the Gallery, as well as the Prayer threads.

and who could forget...GOOF OFF?

I think I would miss the people the most. I mean, I've made tons of awesome friends here! I'd hate to see the chat and the forums go. Also, the atmosphere here is so friendly; I've honestly never been to another site where everyone was so nice! The standards kept by the mods here are also one of the best things; the mods make it possible for everyone to enjoy this site. I know I'd miss the anime and manga reviews, too...Those reviews have helped me pick out a lot of different series! XD It's pretty tough to narrow it down to just one or two things that I'd miss about CAA, so I guess that's a good thing! :thumb:

The individuals here that I'm not communicating with via other channels, because I value those relationships. Some of my closest friendships are with Mave and Psycho Ann, but I speak with them regularly via e-mail, collaborate with them on projects, and in about a month we'll be meeting in real life again. But there are other people that I mainly encounter here on CAA, and I wouldn't want to lose their opinions on matters.

Ingemar's work would be missed too.

I'd also miss annoying Ashley with my random pms (I haven't Pmed her in forever) and my wierd CAA fanboyness....

And Ark. Becuase really, how many other Big Boss look-alikes mod for christain anime sites? (I know your secret, Boss, and I will defeat you, or my name isn't Gasious Snake!)

The random things I can do here, the people I meet....

Oh yeah....I'd also miss rping.

While I was gone, what I missed most were the posts in the Prayer Forum. I was kind of surprised by this. I felt like I should have been there reading what spiritual problems needed prayed for. I would also miss the friends I have on here.

Well... my LIFE! If CAA were to shut down what else would I do? Walk around aimlessly on the internet and play the games on evil popup adds? I THINK NOT! If CAA were to shut down I would have to take over a small nation in the real world and comence to replay the RP Of Nations and States: War and Peace in real life! And as a consequence Ninja monkies would start to take over the stock marcket, Puritan would become the new leader of Russo-Japan and Zarn Ishtare would places nice craters accross the planet as we all vied for Global domination and SIEJJ truly controlled ALL of the chaos on the Earth! Either that or I would just crawl up in a corner and cry for several months until they took me away to the funny farm where everything was beautiful... And the same thing as above would happen I TELL YOU IT WOULD... I AM INVINCIBLE!!!!!

First of all, I think I would cry. But I would miss the art and writing stuff. As a sort of artist myself, I love hanging out with other Christian artists. I love the rest of you too, but I would definitely especially miss that.

If it were to shut down, I would cosplay as "Teh Chat" and bother every CAA member at AX.

Though the time in between now and AX IS going to be awkward (asking teachers to type the homework in my bar...screaming backslash me everytime I want something...)

Oh, a lot of things. THE CHAT OH MY GOSH. I would die without the chat. XDD Really, a lot of the good CAA's done in my life has already been accomplished. I mean, I met Kae and Lunis and Sigma and Cap'n Nick and Shiroi and Radical Dreamer... SO MANY PEOPLE. XD And they're infinitely better friends than anyone I've ever started a relationship with face-to-face.
Think happy thoughts.

I'd miss all my friends here on CAA. A lot. I'd probably cry some, actually. . .
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

I'd miss all those I got to know around here, especially those I met through discussions via the Prayer Room. That's the place on CAA that I consider the most special to me.
