Outer Banks

Weees! Er- sorry if this doesn't belong here I just pretty exicited. Mum was talking to me Saturday asking me if I'd be disapointed if we didn't go to Allegany this summer, and yes I am sorta but my da didn't want to go and we need more "family vacations" as a family. Honestly the whole thing is new in the past few years, and its only been a camping trip over the weekend up in Allegany (Quaker) with my church. Its pretty much a tradition but as much as I want to go I want to spend time with my da, as well as my mum and brother. This will probally be my last summer for a long while to spend time with them. But to continue! Da said he'd like to go somewhere on the Gulf Coast, I was praying for Texas, heh I'd give anything to go back! Be we've settled on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. So far we aren't just sticking to a little area, we want to go all over the place. Mum wants to see all the lighthouses. And be honest as do I, one reason I was really looking forward to the chance we might of moved to Maine. As much as I tire of the east coast I'm really looking forward to it but what! it gets better. My bestest friend Michael lives in North Carolina *nod nod* true 'bout 300 miles inland rqualling 'bout a 6 hour drive but hey! We'll be there for at least a week and my parents already know I'm trying to hint and ask if we might beable to see if we could stop by. So even if there isn't a chance Michael can come and visit me this March there is still a chance I can see him. Another good thing is that we'll probally be camping there. My family has always camped, even if it was only for a day. Loved the time we went to a park that included the Rio Granada (I still have the rock!) Um, :sweat: yeah. Icks, sorry to continue. But one last note, I couldn't believe how many people have never been camping when I went to one of my classmate's 16th birthday 0.o I nearly fell right over when I heard the lot of them had never even made a smore. So on that, I'm very thankful I can still be camping with my family, go someplace new and hopefully meet up with a friend of mine. Heh, sorry to keep rambling!

Anyone else have any plans for the summer, well besides the whole forget everything you've learned at school for those of us who are still in school.
"Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
and things are not what they seem.
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art; to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul."
