Er, I think it would be difficult for astronomers to find a cure for cancer and AIDS seeing as how they know nothing about biological systems...astronomers pretty much only know about space.

It can't mess Sailormoon up... Sailormoon is the difinitive source when it comes to science, Wikipedia being second (link to an important color article), and, of course, Mecha Anime such as Giant Robo and Gundam and Macross being a close third...

No, obviously the definition that determines whether Pluto is a planet or not is far more important than a cure for cancer and AIDS! What could you possibly be thinking, human beings are trifle matters when compared to the bodies of the celestial plane! Now everyone go apologize to Pluto and tell it that it's a planet, before it gets mixed up, believes that its an astroid and in an act of revenge careens straight towards the Earth!

Times like this I am very glad that my favorite Senshi is Sailor Mercury!
Ok,now to be serious:
At the library today one of the librarians had a screen saver up that showed what
Pluto looks like from Earth,a very faint object.On top of the image it had 1930-2006.
At first I wondered who died,and then I realized it was about Pluto being down graded.
