I'm just wondering if anyone here is a person that is part of or supports the korean culture and history in any way, I myself am of 100% korean blood (not saying I'm better than anyone else for purity of my racial blood) and I'd like to know if anyone here knows a significant amount of korean society, would like to know more about stuff about Korea, or those that come from that country. The purpose for this is to find more confidence in my heritage and honor it as much as I can.

^_^ My mother and father are from Korea, so I'm a Korean-American. Korean culture and society is a very broad topic, so I'd guess you'd have to specify something and I'll see if I can help you. Korean Pride! :P

I've always been fascinated with Japanese, Chinese and Korean culture in particular (although the former is more commonly portrayed in anime/manga...naturally!) I love Korean traditional costumes!

There's a great emergence in Korean entertainment. I've read some Korean comics so far (quite good!) http://www.anime-anime.com/news/ covers a lot of Korean stuff.

My fav. Kpop is BoA so far. And we've watched some Korean movies..The last one being "My Sassy Girl". ^^

To be honest, my manga is actually inspired by Kpop culture and my main character is supposed to be Korean. His name is Kim Yong at the moment. Don't even know if that's a valid Korean name..perhaps you can help me add a family name there? I didn't declare it openly in my manga since I don't know much about Korean culture and may end up offending someone.

If I had any questions pertaining to Korean culture, can I ask you?

I wasn't born in Korea, but I want to visit it very very badly! I've only been there once, and I really want to go back some time and just hang around. :P

I was born in Korea in '88 but moved to the U.S. in 1990. I revisited Korea over the summer (mwa ha ha ha ha!) . Throughout the fact that my mom and aunt visit korea once a year, I get new cds and stuff. My favorite korean manga is Tenchu, Master School Olympic and my fav. artists are, Jang Na Ra, Moon Hee Joon, se7en, BoA, g.o.d, and many others!
