Have you guys ever noticed that the more you expect something to happen, it often never does? And even if your expectations are correct, they often don't happen exactly as planned?
Such an example of this would be anticipating certain exams. I often study as much as possible, but with the expectation that the test to be brutal two weeks before I take it. It turns out later that the test was far from difficult and wondered why I had been anxious and worried about something that I was totally uncertain about (the teacher never gave us the scope beforehand).
I guess such a thing can apply to most things in life (especially the weather). It's good to plan out certain events, but to "expect" the outcome usually requires the gift of seeing the future.
And we all know that all of us aren't born with that gift.
