How do you get back into drawing... if you're not very good at it?

Talk about anything in here.

I'm actually logged into .com and not .net, so that doesn't work for me... Most of the links don't work right for me... Vatever...

I have had epiphany moments in drawing... For the most part, however, I just suck... I own the first "How to draw Manga" book, but I just need to pull it out and get cracking... That, and my Math Book, my Japanese CDs (stopped about halfway through the first set, lesson 16 I think), and my emeth... I mean life.. Sorry, too much castlevania recently... That had some interesting art in it... Too girly, though... I don't want to make androgynous characters...

I think drawing is like any skill you want to develop... it just takes lots of practice, and observation and critique from other people to point out specific areas you can improve...

I am not very good at drawing Anime either. Just wanted you to know that you are not the only one out there.

. . . I guess all I can say is to practice drawing characters. When I was young, the only way I got good at drawing was to keep watching cartoons and I kept drawing what I saw on TV. Next thing I know, I am drawing and impressing people with my art.
