Shows like Teen Titans are just wrong. They try (note I said try. They do NOT succeed) to animate their shows like anime to attract more viewers. Come on people! Use your own style if you are not going to use anime properly. Here's some proof:
1. They constantly use character deforming techniques used in various anime.
2. they've used the anime "shaky camera" technique a few times to make fight scenes more dramatic.
3. It's an American show. But they've used a japanese theme song.
4. they tried to draw their characters like anime.
5. They use japanese songs throughout the show.
I'd list more but you have the general idea.
Another show is Avatar: The last Air Bender. This show is pretty close to anime. But in order to make it more like anime, they use the common stereotype that anime doesn't have alot of animation frames. Sure the show is good, but not all anime only uses 2 or 3 frames of animation in certain parts of the show. Maybe it's because the show is low budget for now and they will have more frames in the next season. Or maybe they actually believe that anime doesn't use a descent amount of frames. Who knows...
Another show I'll talk about is Totally Spies. Yeah, I'm a guy but I'll talk about it anyway. This show is pretty good and doesn't use common anime stereotypes.
1. It uses a descent amount of animation frames.
2. It deforms the characters in the right times. But it does not completely deform the character. It will sometimes use the mouth below the chin deform or the rounder head deform. Just like an actual anime show.
3. It doesn't use Japanese songs.
The last show I'll say anything about is Powerpuff Girls Z. This show better not be another American anime show stereotype. But then again, I've heard this is made by a Japanese studio, so I'm not that worried about it.
Ok. This is the end of my rant. heh. ^_^
