I have one thing to say: it's a good thing that Heaven's Cloud changes his avatar often; it took me a while to realize it wasn't OldPhil who posted that...LOL...I can't help it that I'm dense...

Anyway, I didn't change mine, but Tris did, so I'm gonna post that. ^^ (Actually she has two: a Skies of Arcadia pic on her standard desktop and this on her Active Desktop)

I sorta miss the directory backgrounds in windows 95... Can you do that in XP?

Actually windows took that feature out of XP. But you can do it manually or get a program to do so.
check out: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/windowpaper.html
This program will allow to do so and it's quite easy to use. That's what I use :P

On laptops it usually involves pressing the Function key (it should be written in blue too) while pressing the aforementioned insert key with "Print Screen" in blue at the bottom. Good luck :)

Mine didn't change at all. Same ole same old. So, here it is again anyway.

Ah, if you're running on a laptop and want to hit the "blue" buttons, you have to hold down the blue "FN" (function) key. It's right next to the CTRL key on the left. Hold that down and then hit print screen. Should work. It's like a graphic calculator...but much much better. ^^

As for my bg, suprise suprise I'm running one of my own.

Thanks for explaining how to Print Screen on a laptop- I've been wondering how to do that for a while. ^_^
