My first anime convention (Jan 2004)

Ealier today I was cleaning my room and I found my old disposable camera. I wondered what was on it so I took it my my local grocery store and had a phot cd made. WIsh I had a digital camera :(.
Anyways I thought it might be cool to upload a few pictures I have taken. These pictures where taken at Ushi-con Jan 30, 2004.
Also, I was wondering if anyone else out there had pictures from their first anime convention. Well anyways, here are a few pictures.

#1) Aquateen Hunger Force cup playing ddr....
I'm not a fan of the show, though I found it quite amusing... Judge for yourself.

#2) My friend Leah cosplaying from someone from battle angel. My crush from 8th-10th grade. Good thing we bumped into each other there, this is where I decided to move on with my life (crush wise) and let go of things that where not meant to be.

I feel like the odd ball out... Can you tell which one I am? *looks down* Give you a hint...I don't cosplay :P

They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. Ashley can do DDR!? I know Gypsy could but-- Ashley?

Gypsy was the one to teach me the way of the DDR in her basement one cold week in March when a texan was very, very far north. I'm not nearly as good as her, but I do enjoy it. Don't let agasfas brag on me too much, I'm not that good. ;)

oh my gosh... THEY HAD DDR MACHINES???? SO UNFAIR!

at otakon, they just had a ps2 hooked up to a few small metal pads they were all weird

Come to think, I believe he out danced almost everyone there. Plus I'm sure it was hard to see outside the cup, i dont' remember any eye holes. I'm sure he had a screen over the mouth area to look out. Anyways, that guy was on fire dancing circles around people. Kind of like watching riverdancing... To fast for me. Probably would have gave Gypsy a run for her money ;)

I'd never have enough courage to dress up like that. It's just too...embarrassing...:P

Although, when I was eight I went around dressed like a Powerpuff girl with my hair in pigtails...LOL
