A friend of mine came to the Lord today. :)

We gave her a New Testament this morning. Any suggestions for good articles online for her to read as a new Christian?
Come check my facebook fan page here If you want to see some great photography and art!

I am currently on my 4th draft of the script for Canvas! Canvas is a watercolor animated short about how everything declares of a Creator and how everything happens for a reason. If anyone would like to help by sending me resources on watercolor or animation it would be greatly appreciated!

I am also on my 1st draft of a short live-action Romcom called "Behind Every Good Man! Behind Every Good Man is about a Bride-to-be, Evelyn, who must stop her Mother-in-Law, Pamela, from living her dream wedding through Evelyn's. Along the way she learns what it means to be a Woman of Integrity today! If anyone wants to help let me know!

This is a good sight you could recommend they remember and visit often.

The Creating of a Story, be it TV show, novel, video game, is process one can not undertake lightly. When you create a story, you had better be prepared for the emotional ties you will have to all characters, as they all come from you.

Actual books are good too. Francis Chan's Crazy Love and Forgotten God.

I won't, I'll just link this site as a counterpoint.

While we're here, the above site has pretty much exactly the opposite message of Desiring God.

Did I just read Christian Hedonism? Wow, this party has gotten a little wild XD. Not to defend or attack any position, it's just surprising to see those two words joined together on here.

That's such fantastic news! Have her read the book of John, and then check out http://www.elevationnetwork.com. It's a 24-hour stream of sermons, songs, and creative elements from Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC. Really solid and engaging stuff. So happy to hear this!

Anything from Matthew Kelly. The guy is really good at making the faith hilarious and fun to learn about.

Okay so far we've had plugs for Catholics, Mormons, and Protestants.

Now someone needs to link to Eastern Orthodox and the Assyrian Church of the East and I think we'll be covered.

We seem to have a copy pasta war on our hands.

Some of christianity today's stuff is good, as well as slacktivist. I would also recommend the obvious biblegateway due to it having many different versions available.
