Ha ha, I just thought you guys might be interested in something funny I came across:

So, I was looking for information on WinZip/WinRar archiving, and I ended up at the following site:

http://askville.amazon.com/fastest-file-compression-WinZip-WinRar/AnswerViewer.do?requestId=15734246

I couldn't help chuckling when I saw that it looks like our very own site owner is the one who posted the first response--a truly altruistic effort!

Anyways, I guess it just goes to show that what goes around, comes around!

On a related note, let's say that I like WinZip over WinRar... is it possible to have both concurrently, or to use WinZip, would you have to uninstall WinRar?

You can have both. You would just have to set one as your default for when you want to unzip something. WinRAR is better IMO.

He's not the only one of us who's on several different forums. So am I.

Yeah, I'm sure a lot of us are active on various sites--a lot of us even have it cluttering our signature *ahem* ... but anyways, I just found it unique that the site OWNER happened to have the same username, and happened to have posted an answer to a question I had been viewing, when I was not specifically looking for him at all! I just thought 'that name looks familiar', and when I checked, I was right!

Oh, and thanks for the information! In my experience it had been a little different, but probably I hadn't set the defaults correctly...

I was about to say - not every "Okami" on the internet is me. XD

Well, Mithrandir is a pretty long name--why would it be as common as "Okami"? And OBVIOUSLY, there are HUNDREDS of Yoshi's, all laying different-coloured eggs, ha ha!

Mithrandir is also a popular name known in the world because of a book and movie series called Lord Of the Rings.
It would not be surprising if others used it. ^_^

I submit the suggestion that this post can't have been written by our Mithrandir. Why? There are no spelling errors. XD

Though there is a grammar error. So maybe after all...

One time I randomly stumbled upon a reply to a technical forum question by one of my coworkers (he used his proper name, so it was him).
