Favorite Instrument?

I recently saw a recorder quintet. One of the recorders was about four feet long, and had a lovely haunting sound. Not that I could ever decide on a favorite instrument. I think almost every instrument has a place somewhere.

The recorder was an instrument I played when I was young. It wasn't something I ever really picked up on, so I don't consider it my "first" instrument... But, it was something that people had us play in preparation for a more expensive type of instrument.
I didn't particularly enjoy playing it, but I do enjoy hearing the sound... Guess it's just one of those "I'm not meant to play, but meant to enjoy" instruments for me. XD But yes, every instrument does have a place somewhere.
