You're thinking of a tourtiere CDL, that's a type of meat pie. There are others (e.g. scotch pie, steak & kidney pie, etc) that are British. I used to work in a Scottish-owned pub & restaurant back in my home time when I was in high school so is this pretty familiar stuff. And come to think of it, British-style pubs are fairly common where I live anyways.

(i stil say fries with white gravy r beter)we almost got away with a free meal there comp crashed and the manager said go ahead and leave but my dad feeling wrong about it decide he'll give them the credit card # as long as they promised to throw it away afterwards which hopefully they will or we know who to turn to if we get any big bills on our card well ahyhow any other good food places in houston any of u guys know about tell me (oh yea guy who runs the red lion is from britain) this is mainly for brits in the CAA family tho but if u have some info on places in houston (even if there not british ) go ahead and post away!!
