My first name's an old German word for gaurdian or protector.
"Lives are power." - Kamille Bidan
"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" - Christ the Lord (John 11:25-26)

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. - James 1:2-4.

Remember - the Lord will be with you - always. :)

My mother's maiden name is Clark.Clark comes from the word clerk.From what I understand clerk originally meant a member of the clergy,since they were some of the few people who could read,write and do sums a lot of the what we now call
clerical jobs went to lesser members of the clergy.Thus this is how the word clerk came to be and in a round about way the name Clark.

I think Sherise means "Grace, Beauty, Kindness." It's hard to tell since it isn't usually listed so I have to go off of "Charise" or "Charisse" instead.

My middle name "Dionne" has a bunch of possible meanings.

  • from the sacred spring {English}
  • The girl's name Dionne \di(on)-ne\ is pronounced dee-AHN. It is of English origin. A feminine form of Dion (Greek) "follower of Dionysius". Greek mythology: Dione is the wife of Zeus and the mother of Aphrodite. The name is also a homonym for the French pronunciation of Diane. Singer Dionne Warwick.
  • The meaning of the name Dionne is Divine {French}
  • From the sacred spring. The mythological Dione was wife to Zeus and mother of Aphrodite. {English}
  • Short form of DIONYSIOS and other Greek names beginning with the Greek element Διος (Dios) meaning "of ZEUS". This was the name of a short-lived tyrant of Syracuse. {French, English, Ancient Greek}
  • Greek - (spelled Dione) mother of Aphrodite, goddess of love
  • Feminine form of French Dion, used as a nickname for various longer names of Greek origin which contain the element Dios

Yup so there are my meanings. :thumb:
