Shoes On or Shoes Off?

The majority of the time, I take them off, now that I've started changing otu of my uniform almost immediately after school, but before I started that I used to always elave them on. I keep my socks on all the time though, except for when I go to bed, most of the time then I take them off. My shoes tend to just get in the way, since I normally like to lay my feet atop one another when I sit at the comp, which is where I spend most of my time.

I always take my shoes off in my own house, and most of the homes I've visited have similar rules. Everyone in my family has their own pair of in-the-house slippers and then another pair of slippers we wear when we go into the garage or backyard. There's also another pair we carry around in our car/purse when we go visit other people. x] It's a neat system. If I choose not to wear my in-house slippers, though, I go barefoot.

I love my socks, but I can never find any so I end up barefoot most of the time.

I, generally, though, keep them on. My shoes are basically hiking boots, and they're a pain to get tied so that they'll STAY tied, so once I have them off, I generally don't take them off unless I know I'm done leaving the dorm for the day.

At home, I avoid shoes and socks like the plague because I'm too lazy/disorganized to keep track of the location of either. Yeah, I'm a slob...

If you live in the country the entire shoes off concept is rather practical.

There are two very good reasons why in the country we tend to keep our shoes off inside:cows and mud.

Mostly I like to not wear shoes or socks in the house. But in the winter when it gets cold, Im forced to put my soft winter socks on. I do like warmth during the winter season.

I gotta go with the shoes on. I'm always one to climb things and run off on the spot. It's harder without them.
