Okay...this is enough. (Possible mini rant)

Talk about anything in here.

I'm sorry for not being able to participate in the art community as much as I used to. I'm too caught up with other projects and life in general) but pertaining to the gallery, I find it difficult to keep track of everyone. I just don't have the time to go through every single submission, which is attached to a single thread.

I also have a hard time checking out someone's progress as a whole as their pieces are all over the place. Here's a suggestion assuming that it could possible be feasible. Is it possible for us to concentrate our pieces into a single thread within the category? Something like "Mave's FanArt thread" and then in the other category, Mave's "Non Anime Art Thread." The first attachment would be the main image but I think we can continue to attach other images on the same thread onwards, right? Or what about a folder type option? Don't know about you folks but I like concentrating my material in one spot.

Also, if an unofficial rule stated that everyone could limit their posting across 1-2 days like MSP suggested, that may help drop the massive bumping. Seriously, folks, there is no need to machine-gun your artpieces as if they were bullets, and to take down all the other artists along the way.

Sorry if this post wasn't useful. I don't have any brilliant solutions to this and ended up taking the easy way out (DA).

I don't know how to put them all in the same thread. *is a noob* and I am very gulity of posting more than one at a time. Most of the time it's because I'm not around a scanner at home so when I do get a chance I have many pictures I want to post.

Second comment how come nobody ever posts coments on my pics? I ask for CC all the time but no one ever gives it. Unless they find my picture offencive like the emo guys I drew a few weeks back. I want to become a manga-ka and so I ask for CC to try to improve!

I am not sure how easy it would be to create a system like Mave suggests..but I have heard ideas to bring back the Art Corner... I am not sure this would be a horrible Idea.. Are we saving bandwidth by posting massive files? Or would it be easier to post thumbnails in our own organized forums. I know Imageshack has that funtion where you don't ahve to post MASSIVE pics, and post thumbnail sizes.. I don't know about photobucket...

I dunno that seems like the easiest, and most organized solution, plus we can get the community spirit back.

I know at the time, I was all for taking the art corner out...two years ago, but it's been two years, and after listening to many people, it seems like the fairest way to make everyone happy, ^^]I don't know how to put them all in the same thread. *is a noob* and I am very gulity of posting more than one at a time. There are a couple of ways you can do this, Silver_wolf, 1. you can go to http://www.imageshack.us and get an account, upload your images like you would here on caa and link them to the thread you make. ( you would probably have to upload ONE image for this) And post the links in your first post.

OR you can make you first post with your upload and update that same thread with other replies of more artwork. Both ways are good..but I suggest getting an account at a image hosting site. ^_^

Why doesn't anyone post in some of my pictures? To put it simply: Sometimes people just don't have the time, or maybe the style doesn't fit their tastes. I know I comment on as many artists as I can. However, sometimes when someone spams the art thread it kinda turns me off to wanting to comment in their threads. No offence to anyone who is guilty of this...
