Well, in an situation like that what has happened (more than likely) is the two posters have replied at about the same time. And, if the posts are somewhat similar, I would hope for the person needing help would see it as confirmation as to what God is trying to help them understand. In regard to who gets recognition for that is not really that important. The main thing is that the one needing the advice has been helped.

It would help if you provided a link to the thread in question.

I'll admit that I don't know you very well, but maybe that will change with time.

Is it just me, or are a lot of people complaining about not getting noticed?

I think it becomes difficult, as large as CAA has grown. I know not everyone is a regular poster, but there are still a lot of active members. With a smaller group, everyone knows everyone (pretty much) and people get noticed. But as the group grows larger, it becomes more and more difficult to respond to everyone, and people tend to find their little niches. There are plenty of advantages to our growth, such as more anime fans finding a safe Christian community, but yes, there are disadvantages as well, with the community becoming less personalized to all members to a certain degree.

No, people are just complaining.

If you're going to make a thread, ask yourself this question: "Do people care?"

There are countless threads that I've looked at and thought "Who gives a rats *** about that?"

Other's I just don't feel like responding for whatever reason; either it being a retarded question, or something I am just not interested in.

And others that I'm about to reply to, somebody includes what I was going to say in a previous post.
"Destroy all that which is evil, so that which is good may flourish" - The Boondock Saints

"Man creates dolls in his own image. If God exists, it's possible that we're all just dolls to him." - Evangelion (episode 22)

>>If you're going to make a thread, ask yourself this question: "Do people care?"
Sometimes I post a new topic thread just to see whether anyone cares or not. But whenever I do it, I've always been prepared to accept the big probability that no one could care two hoots about it. OK no one cares...so what? I still live. :thumb:

>>Other's I just don't feel like responding for whatever reason; either it being a retarded question, or something I am just not interested in.
0.o Guess it's better to have no one reply to a thread, rather than seeing "Hey dud, I read your thread but I'm not replying your question or giving you much comments on your topic, coz I think it's retarded." *admins bonks respondent with rubber hammer for being rude and mean*

There's when I say, "Thanks for not replying."

But in good spirits, people, I stress that this does NOT mean in any way that all unpopular threads are "retarded".....^^ Sometimes no one is just interested, but it's nothing personal. Take it easy Cobalt, we now know you're just goofing around..you just happened to post it at a pretty unfortunate time. :lick:

Seems to me some people just want to be noticed, therefore, creating (usually) negative attention. Happens with me, unfortunately, just not on this board. If I want some attention, I walk off and stare out a window and pout...not to be rude or anything...we all feel that way sometimes...

wow...someone finally notices it. XD and i've been here for only a little while.

i think the people who usually do "look-at-me" threads have...uh...little experience with boards and forums (so you can't blame them too much), in the sense that they might not know that the internet is even more indifferent towards indivuduals than the "real," corporeal world is (which is bad enough)...the internet is socially an even bigger place and people do and will get unnoticed, and if you DO get noticed, it doesn't last very long because that's the internet...easy come, easy go. so just deal with it. still, the worse i've seen are those who make such a big deal about leaving and even make a poll out of it. XD XD i guess that why other boards have a Rant Section so people can go blow off some steam without disturbing people and cluttering the general places.
*Insert witty saying here*

Well, just let me say this, if people posted stuff like that, they really are sticking their necks out. Please don't treat them like whiners, because that only leads to further deprssion on there part. That's my two cents...

Again, I'm really sorry if I bothered people with this post. O.o;;; I guess I just assumed people would know I was joking because, in general, I'm CAA's most serious member around.

Lastly, Hitokiri is an independant nation?! Lakutia declares war!!!
