DM says "You're gonna DIE! Roll a D6!"

Have a video game or or VG review? This is the place to to discuss it! We also accept discussions of board games and the like, but SHHH! Don't tell anyone, OK?

Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone else on CAA plays D&D.

My group of friends at college and I have been playing since October and we will probably be continuing a while to come. We really enjoy it. It is tough sometimes, but it makes you think outside the box.

Oh, and if you don't know what the title of the thread is from, check out this parody. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54VJWHL2K3I

Nice. So have you ever made a situation where it was almost impossible for the group to beat an enemy or something?

I've made it difficult, but never almost impossible, since if they all die the story ends and that sort of defeats the purpose of our game. They're also insanely clever, so I may have made encounters that would kill other parties that they made hash of. Current scenario results in a near instant death if you fall of the train they're all on though.

Involved in two games right now. Both have kind of just started. One of my characters is a level 3 human paladin, the other is a level 4 elven wizard. Playing version 3.5e in both games. None of my friends like 4e for some reason. I've never played it.

I'm thinking about starting my own campaign eventually if I can find the time to create it.

I prefer to GM Shadowrun, personally, but I've played plenty of D&D in my time. One of my favorite past times is attempting to decide what alignment my friends are. XD

One of the alignments that really annoys me is Chaotic Neutral. Agh it makes me so angry! XDD

I'm usually Lawfully good when I play my characters.

Chaotic evil though, that's crazy. XDD MUAHAHAHAHA
