I keep a beat-up 486DX4/133 around just for many of those old DOS games that don't work well in Virtual PC, or that there weren't Mac versions of. It has:
- DOOM (the classic, and DOOM II)
- Wolfenstein 3D, and Spear of Destiny
- Blake Stone Aliens of Gold
- Blood
- Wing Commander 3
- Wacky Wheels
- Big Red Racing
- Xenophage
- Mechwarrior 2
- Duke Nukem II (full registered version)
- Strife
- Commander Keen: Goodbye Galaxy! (full registered version)
- Star Trek 25th Anniversary Adventure
- Day of the Tentacle (yes, I DO have it!
)
- Sam and Max Hit the Road
- Inca
- Tetris
- Stellar 7
- Terminal Velocity
- Ultima I
- King's Quest
... and some more I can't remember. I'll get a complete list later. I also have Duke Nukem 3D, Descent (I and II), Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Abuse, Full Throttle, Dark Forces, Carmageddon and MDK for DOS, but as I have them on the Mac, too, I just play them on the Mac.

Also, for people who want a DOOM fix on a modern system, DOOM Legacy has 3D accelerator support and higher resolutions while still playing all the old .wad files. I only have the URL for the Mac version, but the Windows and Linux versions are easy to find.

Old Skool..... first games for my PC where Digger, some mario/dk clone, and EGA Asteroids (which kicked butt). Oh, and Wishbringer (1st IF on my PC, big fan of Scott Adams Adventures on my TI).
Doom, Doom 2
Duke Nukem (mostly just the shareware ones)
Heretic
Dark Forces (this game still rocks, though a bit dated).
Decent
Wing Commander (picked up WC2 few years back)
Several IF titles by Infocom
Hexen
Commander Keen (ID needs to do another)
Icarius and Eternal Doom by TeamTNT
BTW - there are several Win based Doom engines out there, ZDoom runs rather well and adds a few features (which can be turned off) to the original engine. (i.e. - mouse-look, jump, etc.)

Oh wow, those titles sure bring back some memories...
Doom I & II (God mode was sw33t)
Commander Keen
Sam and Max Hit the Road
Day of the Tentacle
Ultima 1
Quest for Glory 1
Monkey Island 1&2
Duke Nukem
Prince of Persia 1
SimCity
Leisure Suit Larry 1 (O_o;;; Hey it was... amusing)
CD-man (pac-man but with better graphics)
Joan of the Jungle... or was it Jill of the Jungle?? I forgot...
Jackrabbit... or something like that (side-scroll adventure game)
Eye of the Beholder
Arkranoid (never could spell it right)
And a ton of others I can't remember
It so happens my dad got his hand on these 2 CDs that have 100 old-skool games each. Man, I think the newest games in there were from 94 or was it 91? Spent my elementary days firing rocket launchers at evil aliens.

I liked Commander Keen, somewhat. Still have it on my computer.
Any of you ever played Wizardry? That's old school.

My favorites:
Doom 2
Duke Nukem
Command and Conquer: Red Alert
Starcraft (does that count as old yet?)
My first computer was a Mac, so I also enjoyed some old school games that should have been released for the PC.
Escape Velocity
Prince of Destruction (POD)
I was also a big fan of buying compliation disks with dozens of little games. They were the best...

Zero Wing? I loved that game! I can't believe I forget about it, but then again I never owned it, my friend did. Sadly, he lost his copy. I've always been addicted to those types of games.

You mean the one with Jason Youngblood's LAM? That was a sweat game. Let me know if you get stuck. I beat it using every mech possible.
My favorite line out of that game:
You are now face to face with the face.

A lot of those old shareware games were cool: Commander Keen, Wolfenstein 3d, Rise of the Triad, Crystal Caves, Secret Agent, Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure...

Let's see...
- Jill of the Jungle trilogy
- Dare to Dream trilogy
- Epic Pinball trilogy
- Jazz Jackrabbit CD
- Tyrian CD
- One Must Fall CD
(Can you tell I like Epic MegaGames? ^_~ )
- Roberta Williams Anthology*
- countless shareware games; can't even begin to name them all!
* This was a 4-disc collection published by Sierra in 1996 that contained every game that Sierra's co-founder Roberta Williams had designed (or was least involved in); mostly the King's Quest and Laura Bow series but some others as well.

Hey, Raptor is a good one. Couldn't get much into X-Com but maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance. I do have it somewhere.
