It's one of those games that I intend to play eventually but there's a lot of other games I intend to play first.

I really liked SoA (I played the Legends verison; don't know how much difference there is in between versions though)! In fact, I incurred extra rental fees just so I could play it longer..^^ The only thing I didn't like about it was the length of some of the ship-battle rounds (where's that Moonston Cannon when you need it!? he he) and there were a couple of plot things that could have gone away...*drops Vigoro into a deep hole* LOL But all in all, I recommend it as long as you bear in mind it has a teen rating for a reason.

I've got Skies for the Dreamcast and played a few scenarios of it. I like the plot and the concept; I just wish there were a full voice cast (one of the reasons why I particularly like Grandia 2 ... strong gameplay *and* a well-developed series of cutscenes with good acting that really pulls you in).

The only difference really is that the graphics have been touched up a little in Legends and they added more side quests. (I play Legends, too!) The story line is the same, and the characters remain classic. This game is great!

You can get it for Gamecube; I rented it from Blockbuster. It's called Skies of Arcadia: Legends in that form.

inkhana is totally right; I own Legends for the Gamecube and it made me obessed for a little while!

My sister didn't want it at first, but after I showed it to her, she couldn't get enough either! ;)

She's only eleven, but very mature for her age, so my parents set aside their misgivings and let us get it.

After that, I got my friends Ame and Luke (CobaltAngel and Ekul) into it. They are currently holding it hostage!

But if we gave it back now, Luke-kun would die from suspense! We just got Nasr and we had to leave for my choir concert. So he STILL hasn't got to see what it looks like.
