Heh, I thank I know the few scenes you're talking about. I almost fell off my chair when I read some of those very, very, liberally translated lines in that ROM. Actually the game has been ported twice in Japan. The first port was on the PS1 and they added new stuff, new battle abilities, anime scenes, a new character in your party, and so forth. The second very recent port has been to the GBA. I'm hoping that this one will make it to the U.S.

As for an anime, there is supposed to be a TOP-OVA, I think, but I don't know much about it. There is also a Tales of Eternia spinoff OVA as well with Reid and his crew.

Yeah, those certainly caught me by surprise! Never in my life had I seen rpg sprites say such things.

Really? I'm currently playing Tales of Eternia (or Tales of Destiny 2 for the US title). Once I'm finished, I think I'd be very interested in an anime. I have the anime for Star Ocean 2. It's pretty good so far. Maybe I ought to look up more rpg-based anime ...

<Resident Evil Survivor (yes I know it's horrible)
Resident Evil Gaiden
Parasite Eve 1 & 2
Eve Of Extinction (fun fun)>

Yeah, I kinda wish I could get my hands on those as well.

Oh, and I like: True Crime: Streets of LA and Suikoden II

...And as far as I can see, no one has mentioned Fire Emblem, in particular number 4: Seisen no Keifuu. Fire Emblem is popular in Japan but not in America.
