This is very sad news. As a Nintendo fan, I was not as familiar with him as I probably should have been. What I do know is that he played a very important role in the company that has brought me many hours of gaming enjoyment, and for that he deserves my thanks and respect.

Like Fantasia, I never really knew anything much about the head of Nintendo, but have enjoyed hours of playing many of their games. The GameCube is the most loved console in my house, and the Wii console is not far behind. My thanks to you, Mr. Satoru Iwata, for all your hard work.
