I have reason to believe that somehow some of my personal information is being used. I found a keylogger on my computer(malware that copies keystrokes, passwords, etc and sends it out)

In this case I hope no information was taken. Pray for me. thanks

Likewise. Malware just gets worse and worse. What did you type that you think they have? Things like passwords, or more difficult to change things like social security numbers and addresses?

Also, if you know what the "name" of the keylogger was, we might be able to find out if it's even, so to speak, working; a lot of the virus keyloggers send to known drop boxes that were disabled, so the risk is lower on one that's been out for awhile.

its called CHM_CODEBASE.EG. and it creates the following files: kwui.dll,kwuiex.dll, and xtempx.$

basically it saves keystrokes into the text file xtempx and then sends it out.

I was able to delete all the malware files and my computer is virus free right now. Im just a bit worried though. As for the information, it could be anything.

I appreciate all your help and prayers. thanks.
