Two work colleagues and firefighters

Postby Sammy Boy » Fri Oct 18, 2013 3:46 am

Hello,

1. I found out that one of my work colleagues recently had a heart attack. Not sure what his status is, still trying to find out more.

2. Since a couple of days ago there's been a bunch of bushfires in the state I live in due to really dry hot weather, and it's only spring here.

I found out today that another one of my colleagues lost his house to the flames - it got gutted and there were only partial walls left standing.

His daughters and him are safe, but they pretty much only have the clothes on their backs.

We pooled our money together for him at work - but it's nowhere near what he needs.

3. I read on the news that some firefighters lost their own homes to the bushfires while they were trying to save other people's homes.

If you could spare a prayer for my two work colleagues and the firefighters, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

I'll be praying for them.
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? -Micah 6:8 KJV
They have shewed thee, O teen, what is good; and what doth the world require of thee, but to fit in, be wealthy, have good looks, and be rebellious? -Peer Pressure 1:1
"I hate milk; it's like drinking vomit." -Edward Elric and me. :fmed:
