Pray for everyone's safety as Huracane Sandy is crossing the east coast! It just hit Virginia where I used to live and its flooding REALLY bad. This is the Mcdonolds that was RIGHT down the street from my former house! It's going to hit NY soon where I live so please pray for us all!

We're kinda getting the edge of the storm right now. Considering that we're on THE EDGE, it's pouring and the wind is going really fast for out here. Full story for what's happened so far is in the Status Madnus thread.

Praying, Sarah! The flooding where I'm at isn't bad, but the wind ad rain is.

And about the picture, that's impossible/photoshopped. Virginia Beach got a lot of flooding, but nothing at all like that. A lot of overflow on the boardwalk and some flooded roads, and I think they closed the Lesner Bridge just to be safe, but there was nothing of Hurricane Katrina magnitude.

Oy vey, we've been getting pummeled by Sandy since Saturday when we started getting the outskirts of the hurricane. And it looks like it will still be going through tomorrow as well.

This is a big question: How/why would she have gotten inside the McDonald's to get it? (also, you should have watched that film in there. It's quite obvious that's from it, and there's no way she could have taken the exact same picture from a different flooded McDonald's)

But it's still terrifying and very bad, so praying!

Not to mention that the signing in that McDonalds isn't even current.

Still going on over here. Tops of trees are moving, but the amount of rain has been mostly steady, with the exception of most of the afternoon yesterday.

Storm over. Power out for about 12 hours, but now back online. Damage not quite as bad here as farther north. As hurricanes go (I've been through five serious ones), this one was probably the least damaging for me personally, but appears to still have been quite bad for others.

I'm praying!

I'm glad that everyone is okay! Sandy wasn't that bad to us! I think that the worst she did was blow the rest of the leaves of the trees! I pray that everyone else is okay that was affected by Sandy!

I'll be praying for your safety!
