For my sister and I

Postby Nami » Thu Mar 31, 2011 6:37 am

Well, I haven't put a serious thread up like this in a bit, so here I go.

I received a call from my mom last night, and she wanted to talk serious, and she did. Apparently, there are people in my family who seem to think that my sister and I are ungrateful and we don't fully understand the situation that is going on around us. Which is utter crap. Now, my grandparents have done a lot for she and I, but after my conversation last night with my mom, I have no doubt that a wave of ill-bidding is coming our way. We've been through so much in these past years, its been so hard for my sister and I to cope. But, we are just finally, getting settled into our lives here.

All I can say is, changes will occur and I don't know what kind. And its not definite, but I have a guess that my grandparents are sick of being generous to us, and I think, they may be ready to shuffle my sister off to West Virginia to live with my mom and her new husband! Which is entirely stupid, because my mother can barely afford the apartment they live in. To add another person, plus my sisters animals? That's just unbelievable to me.

From the way my mom was talking, I believe my grandpa might have that idea in mind. And this morning, I had a small anxiety attack on the way to work. It didn't impair my ability to drive, it just felt like someone was squeezing my heart, really, really hard.

So, guys, without further blahing, if you could please pray for my sister and I, my sister needs a job and fast. The deadline, I believe will be July. I don't know what my grandparents and my mom have planned, because nobody will tell me anything and my mom said cryptically; "You'll find out soon." that scares me and that's what gave me that anxiety attack. So prayer, prayer is good. Thank you.

I will definately be praying for you. Hope things grow better and things change for the better than anything else, if not, not too much.

I'll be praying for you Nami! That sounds tough. :(
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Thank you. ^_^ Its a bit tough. Its not nearly as hard as some things I've faced, which makes it somewhat easier. Thank you again.

It makes me feel safer to know that I have friends praying for me. Thank you so much.

Update; My sister has an interview this Saturday with a woman I know who runs a shop with her sister, she's just opened her own shop and is hiring. My sister would have to work the Tiki-Bar as well, but that's not a huge deal if she's making money. Please pray that she might get it. ^_^ Thank you for continuing to pray! I appreciate it.

Thank you all so much for your support, here's an update;

My sister had the interview, and the Tiki Bar thing wasn't that the woman serves alcohol, it was that she wants someone to catch the people who are leaving the tiki bar and have them eat her hot-dogs. So, its a maybe for my sister. We'll see. The really hard thing is, my sister has no car, no license and the only way she can get a license is if she takes a driving course, which in Virginia isn't necessary if you are over 18. So, everything becomes difficult. I am feeling a bit stressed. I need to pass my worries to God. *sigh* Thank you all so much.
