Praying for my cat?

Salutations everyone. I know I have been quiet and gone for over a year and for that I'm sorry. Most of you may not remember me, but I have been a member here for over a year and this site was reccomended to me by my friend Spoony Bard.

I do have some grave news. My cat is going to die and needs to be put down this Friday due to cancer. What would be the best way to pray to our loving Lord in times of death? Since I have become a Christian, this is something I haven't experiences yet. I would appreciate any help without any harsh judgement...

Thank you all and God be with you.

As cliche as this sounds, say/pray what's in your heart ^__^ The right words will come to mind once you get started ^__^

I'll pray that the little ones makes it safely into Kitty Heaven ^__^

Thanks so much Tsukuyomi. Like I said, any help or loving advice, is always appreciated :jump:. I'm also happy knowing that Cali did live a long and healthy life of 16 years, which is very long for a cat ^^. I also prayed thanking God for giving her a nice long healthy life.

I'll be praying for you. I lost my beloved kitty near the end of February this year. She was almost the same age, and pretty healthy. I still miss her sometimes, especially when everyone's in the dining room and one of us expects her to show up like she would always do.

Oh my. *hugs* I know how hard this can be!

Well, one of my cats was very ill last year. I kept praying that God's will would be done, my cat would get better if it was God's will, or die if it was his time. We did end up having to put him down...but it was clear this was the right thing to do, so at least we had that peace about it, even though it was hard.

I guess I'd pray for the cat not to suffer or be in needless pain, and that you and your family will be able to deal with the loss, if it's the cat's time.

*prayers* *hugs*

*hugs Alice back* thanks so much for the sincerity. Also thanks so much for the sincere replies everyone. Yeah this is a hard thing for my family and I, but we're at least coping together. It's probably going to feel like a big piece of our life is missing too for awhile, especially knowing we've had her for so long. But I know God will always help us get through it. Thanks again so much for your prayers guys <3.
