Roomates moving out

Just got word from my roomates that they are looking for an apartment to move into together. This means I got a month to look for new roomates. To some this will seem kinda bad.

But to me it's almost a praise report. My roomates are a catholic (I'm a baptist) and a the other really doesn't take a stand on anything. Lately we've grown apart since they opened a store and I never see them anymore. Plus I finnally get a chance to find CHRISTIAN roomates (the catholic guy didn't act very godly to me, not because he's catholic, its because he was a hypocrite. Not to say I've done any better lately)

So pray for me in finding new roomates. I feel this is a step in the right direction for me. I feel 100% that God is behind this.

finally had someone contact me about the apartment and about possibly moving in.
In our conversation this is what I learned about him
-he is or was a youth pastor
-he has a tattoo about "The purpose drivine life
- he like to hunt -he has witnessed to a few athiest friends and they converted -he's an outside smoker -he drinks and keep beer in the fridge and says he "drinks for taste not for a buzz
-he asked if I mind people hanging out (he says his friends are of every religion) and I said "it be okay"..."do you mind girls?" he asked "will they be modest?" I asked "yeah I won't brind prostiutes.....unless you haven't celebrated your 21 birthday yet or something" "no thank you"I say. "Sure?" he asked. "Yes",

at times when we talkd I was like " this guy seems legit. and he has a few likes that I do" then there were times where I was like "I'm not so sure about this. he reminds me of one or my roomates, Jason, who called himself christian but didn't really act like it.

going to ask for a reference from his pastor and call my college minister for advice. Also wondering what you guys think about what I said. Keep me in your prayers.

I hope it works out. I know it's a little strange and a bit of a risk getting new roommates.

I couldn't go through with him as a new roomate so I kindly turned him down.

Indeed, he did not seem like a christian with comment like "I won't bring prostitutes.....unless you haven't celebrated your 21 birthday yet".

I used to think it wasn't difficult to find people living the life of a christian, but it seems I was thinking too highly of people. People in general, would tell lies. I don't dislike them, but I really can't stand it when they say "white lies", as if it is the right thing to do. Of course, it wasn't right to use vocal violence (sugar coated as "brutually honest"), but that doesn't mean one need to lie.
