Aaron and his family

Hey, everyone. First off, thanks for all your prayer regarding the rekindling relationship between me and Aaron. I really appreciate it. Now, I'd like to ask you to pray for a different situation. I'm asking for you to keep his family in your prayers, with special attention to his middle brother, Jason. I can't give out much details, aside from the fact that Jason has been serving time in prison since Aaron barely started high school. Today while having lunch with his mom, I found out he still has quite a few years left before his release, and that the day after Aaron's return to California, the whole family (his oldest brother is on vacation from college) is going down to spend a day with Jason. Please keep them in your prayers. The thing he had done which landed him there nearly destroyed them, particularly Aaron. Not only were the two brothers, they were best friends.

I know it probably sounds weird, but I love Jason, him being Aaron's brother. I have never met him in person in my life, but I was once told by both Aaron and his mom that I would've loved him, and after hearing stories about him and bonding closer to this family, I know I would and I do. But more importantly, pray for his spiritual condition. I don't know what Jason believes, aside from that the family (with the exception of Aaron) is Catholic. The biggest desire weighing on my heart is that the whole family turns to Christ before it's too late.

Again, please keep this family in your prayers. I want this Christmas to be a memorable one for them. Also, only God can bring healing and restoration to what was nearly destroyed in their lives. Thanks.

I will certainly pray for anyone to turn to Christ, and for this family's troubles in general. However, I hope you don't mean that I should pray for a family to "turn to Christ" just because they are Catholic. A true Catholic is every bit a Christian as a member of some other denomination. And no, I'm not a Catholic.

Please build bridges and not dig trenches.

I understand, SP1. Thanks for the private messages as well. Digging trenches is not my intent at all. If nothing else, I'm praying for this family to be healed in the ways only our Lord can work.
