I'm getting to addicted to hentai and porn. I'm becoming selfish. I'm not reading my bible. I'm not praying. I'm not trying. My anger is slowly consuming me.
and whats worse about all this. I've developed the tendency....to not care. I'm loosing touch. My head is hurting because I just got so angry a few minutes ago over something so trivial.

You've done the right thing in realizing what your problems are. I'm praying right now.

Oh, this problem. I'll be praying for you. But might I suggest that you read the "Prayer that it works this time" thread. And its right here in the prayer forum just scroll down and you will find it. There are some helpful tips that break this addiction. The best advice I can give you is that you pray to God. Its hard I know, but its the best way you can deal with it. Just take time out everyday and think about what you do. And ask you yourself WWJD(What would Jesus do) and WWJT(What would Jesus think [about this]). Believe me even Jesus fought temptation. You do you remember Him being tempted by the devil in his 40 day fast in the dessert? Even though He was tempted Jesus never forgot what God wanted from Him and so Jesus didn't give in although it was hard for Him to do so. Well I will certainly pray for you, and I hope you find a way to break this addiction.

I'm praying for you. That thread Animedude suggested? My very own. I too have been struggling with the temptations of porn, lust, hentai....you name it, I've struggled over it. You're not alone in this grueling fight
There's two things up there that you've mentioned you don't do that I would suggest doing. Prayer and reading your Bible. Trust me on this, it works wonders. When you feel the temptation pulling you, pray about it "Lord, please keep me clear and away from this..." and then flip open a Bible (I usually go to the Psalms) and read a couple of verses. Then I usually will shut down my computer to avoid further trouble, and go do something else for a bit. It takes time and patience to get rid of these risky habits. I know from experience, I truly do.
I hope my words have had some effect on you. You're not alone!!!

Aww yes, I did mean to mention reading your Bible for insight as Okami has already suggested. Its the book of books. (Haha, if you think about that has a double meaning, one being the book of all books and also a book with many books inside.) And also its the word of God. God knew we would struggle with this stuff and He's trying to help us, but that won't happen unless you pray and get into His word to find out what he thinks of this stuff. Read the book of Proverbs. Its a great book for help on wisdom in those situations you mentioned. Chapters 5-6.

As I told you online, I mailed you the book You Are Not Your Own by Jason Perry, formerly of Plus One. His story really spoke to me, especially 'cause he's experienced quite a few things in his life, and I can relate to some of those things. I'm praying that reading the book will help you get a better perspective of the Lord and your relationship with Him.
