Insect bites and such

Well, as some of you may remember, I was bitten by a spider of some sort several weeks to a month ago. The bite has healed, but there is a nasty purple spot left on the skin that may or may not go away. In any case, I think it is healed uo. However, I've recently noticed a few places on my other leg. Four, in fact. Three are above my knee, one below on the side of my leg, right on the calf. It is the one that causes me the most worry, as it hurts to place much weight on that leg. I'm assuming it is because of its location on top of the calf...the muscle itself must be swollen. And as much as I play sports, I'm worried about damage to the muscle, though I may jsut be paranoid.
The bite on my calf is red, with like a pustule on it, and there is a red spot al around it. It's painful to the touch, as well. The others are the same way, except the spot around them is small and circular shaped, while the one on the calf is move oval shaped and covers are larger area. I'm not sure if they are spider bites, or just an infected bug bite or something. It's annoying, though, and painful. Not to mention the fact that I don't want something as unsightly as that on my leg. I've been putting cortizone on them, in hopes that it will cure them. If anyone has any idea what they might be, and possible treatments for them, it would be appreciated. And prayers, of course. Thank you.

Does this red spot look like a bull's eye?

How do you mean? It's not striped or anything, and they aren't perfect circles. One of them doesn't even llok like its on the other side. But for the most part, it is a ring around the pustule.

It sounds kind of like brown recluse bites..
when K. Ayato said "bulls eye" I think they were referring to a white center with red all around it...
if they are very big, they are probably spider bites...espcially if they are painful.. I would go see a doctor. ^^;

Get to the doctor to have him check it out. I'm hoping it's not a tick bite.

We don't have ticks around here. And I've been to the doctor enough lately, I don't feel like delaing with it now...haha. But if they continue to get worse, I will. THe bite I had before they thought was a brown recluse, but it didn't start to rot away or anything like they do.

Brown Recluse can get pretty bad. I would check it and save yourself the trouble.

Well, I probably will go to a doctor if it doesn't start to improve. My parents have looked at it, and they say that it doesn' t look like a spider bite, but instead a horsefly bite or something.
But to add to that, I just fell awkwardly, and I might have broken my foot. i can walk, and it doesn't hurt excrutiatingly badly, but I'm somewhat worried about it. Most likely, though, it is just a sprain. When I fell, I heard some crunching like sounds, but I could stand and walk, and it isn't swelling that I can see, and the pain is just more like a soreness...so I don't think its broken. Probably just a light sprain. But yeah, go ahead and pray for that too, thanks. Haha, I feel like I'm falling apart...lol.

lol in a bubble...I like that idea for myself, actually, CK xD
As everyone else has said, go see a freakin' doctor!! I shall be praying they heal up nicely enough :3
Oh, and trust me, from experience here, if you'd've broken your foot, you wouldn't be walking at all. Of course, when I'd broken mine last summer I was stupid enough to walk to my classroom (luckily right down the hall) to the office unassisted, then to the car after that....I have never felt such horrible physical pain. ...just, don't repeat my mistakes x3;;;;
I'd stay off that foot until you know it's doing better (It took me 5 months to fully heal the bone I'd broken--it's just below the little toe--and even still if I'm on my feet for too long or doing too much physical work, I get sparks of pain around the once-broken area)

D2000, just go to the doctor, already! LOL
I think that would help answer the questions you have about that bite and quells any unnecessary anxieties in you. Some poisonous bites do not take effect straight away.
Like others have said, I will pray for healing.

Alright, I'm going to the doctor tomorrow. The pain in my leg is getting rediculous...I have had a hard time sleeping because of it. It was swollen and sore to the touch, and then just sore otherwise, but t his morning it ruptured. Unfortunately, the small hole in it was too little for anything to drain out of, and there is small, hard spot all around teh pustule where you can feel the infection is in there. When my mom gets home tonight, we're going to open it further and drain it out, hopefully relieving the pain. That's what helped the last bite I had.

After you see the doctor, call Terminix.

Forget Terminix, sounds like he might have to give Sigourney Weaver a call....

Alright, went to the doctor today, and he put me on some antibiotics and gave me a shot, as well. He took a culture of the rdainage from the bite and sent it to a lab, so if it is a blood infection or something, we will know shortly. This morning it has been draining a lot, and doesn't hurt as badly. I can move my leg more. But there is still a large amount of infection and such in there.

Yeah, thanks. It had gotten to the point of rediculousness this weekend, with more holes forming in my leg in that little ocntained area. My parents say there is a possibility that it is a staff infection. I'm not sure whats worse. In anycase...I want to hurry up and get better, because I'm tired of having all my friends worry about me and such, not to mention I don't want it there, either.
