CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

I'm really sorry if I needed to ask permission to post a prayer request first, but it's been a long time since I've been here and I'm not sure who to ask. Anyways, This summer starting July 2nd I'm heading to Japan to help some missionaries with vbs, cleaning toilets and such. I'm not that fluent in Japanese yet, and I don't know what my Japanese teacher is saying half the time. I'll be going alone and such. So I ask that you pray for safe travel and dispite the language barreier, I can still build a relationship with these kids in Japan and share the good news effectivly to bring glory to God. My Japanese teacher by was once an English teacher in Japan, who can to America to learn how to be a missionary. So praise God that I found her because she's very good at teaching and has been very helpful telling me what's going on in Japan and the culture.^^ Then I'll be coming back August 25th.

Where abouts in Japan are you going to be?
I went on mission trip to Japan, July last year at Ome (a north-west Tokyo suburb).
I'll be praying that it all goes well.

I'm going to be staying in the Northern part of Nagano, Iiyama. And if you don't know where that is, it's pretty much in the middle of Japan, where all the mountains are.

I've also felt really called to Japan, especially Osaka. I'm going there some time (not sure when, God hasn't told me yet.) But I might go with YWAM. (youth with a mission.)

Just said a prayer for you... I hope it all works out w.r.t the language barrier... really you don't learn the language well untill you need to use it...

P.S. That's one country I'd like to eventually visit...

Eh their language isn't too hard to understand^^ Trust me, after watching hundreds of subs I've picked up a ton of common words/phrases, so being actually IN the nation should be all the more easier^^ Praying...

Oh I will pray for you. Sorry I got here late. Man thats like the number one place that I would really like to go to. Remember this is a great opportunity, ceize the day the Lord has made! And also have fun. I also really want to learn Japanese so that I may be able to go there. I have Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji books. And a Japanese learing kit, but I can't really learn it now because I have Spanish class, and I wouldn't want to mix those up. So have a wonderful time!
