I'm losing money...

A new request that I'm getting VERY frustrated with... Paypal is my friend NO MORE! And things keep getting worse...

First, a seller sells me some bootlegs. So he refunds me and I'm going to return them. Money came in from one item and not the other. Already I'll have to return them at my own expense (which in a sense I shouldn't even bother with, since he'll probably sell the illegal copies to somewhere else), and now what happens? Someone reported him, he got kicked off eBay, and I'm out $36 bucks :/

Next, there's an item I REALLY want and for a quite nice price. So, I go and deposit $100 into my account. I look back to eBay... nothing. Says the request went through (and usually takes over a week to process) but NOTHING shows up under "activity" of any process even going on. I check on my online banking and it said that I withdrew it. So now I'm out 136!!!

I'm getting VERY frustrated and have just mailed both eBay (about the now banned member) and Paypal to figure this out but it's just... *sigh* I KNOW I need to slow down with my spending and really, after I get these last couple items I want, I'm probably going to quit eBay and Paypal, and try to find these hard-to-find items elsewhere if possible (and hopefully cheap).

Prayer would be SO great with this all, because I don't want anymore money to dissolve into cyber space (which is one reason why doing EVERYTHING online isn't the greatest idea...)

:) I'll be keeping you in my thoughts, dear.

I've had experiences like this with Ebay in the past; and while the were eventually resolved...I've not used them since!

I will pray for you. My wife is an eBay freak. We have had to deal with a few hiccups as well. So I do feel your pain. Don't give up, paypal moves in two speeds, slow and stop. Again, I will pray for your situation.

I'll be praying. And I can tell you from experience that you should get a lot of help from eBay. They have much better customer service than PayPal. I hope they are alse to help you straighten some things out.

Well, I decided to phone them (long distance being a 1-400 number, yes, but I want this all figured out) and it really is more of a Paypal concern (especially for the disappearing 100 dollars bit...). Now I'm confused if they are confused themself about the money I'm owed, with the fact that there were TWO items and I only received payment for ONE (but I think the person on the phone got the drift... before I was transfered on the line, the lady had an accent and didn't know what I was talking about, oy :/)

I DID get an email today saying I got paid back for it, but the seller didn't click the refund link. But still, if that were so, shouldn't I have it in my Activity History saying that I received payment for it? Or is it just, added on like that without any word on it (in which even then I didn't notice).

As for the 100 dollars, I've been warned not to fax a screenshot of my online banking History, as proof that I DID transfer the money. I think on Monday when my bank's open (stupid not open on weekends...) I'll go in and take a screenshot of both and maybe THEY can trace where it went... I hope :/ *sigh*

UPDATE!

well, I found out the the 100 dollars thing was actually a mistake on my behalf^^ I mistakened it for a separate withdraw I made on an ATM around the same time frame... So my bad! BUT I'm SO glad the money didn't go missing...

Still no word back on the seller that still owes my 37 CAD, but according to Paypal I SHOULD have it, but I still think they're getting mixed up with the other item...

Yay! I will be praying that the rest of your financial conundrum gets figured out as well!
