The mother in a missionary family I worked with the summer before last has breast cancer that spread to her ovaries. Please pray for her healing and for peace in their family so that the work that they do might continue.

Well, so far the testing that has been done on her has come back negative. I'm not completely sure on the details of the situation, but it seems that her ovaries do not have cancer. However, they still need to determine what might be wrong. I'm sorry I couldn't provide more information, but prayers would definately be appreciated for their ministry and for her healing, as she continues to recover from breast cancer.

EEEEEWW!!!
That can't be feelin' too good....
yeah, I'll pray for a miracle here.

verse may help:
John 15:5-8

5 "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
NKJV

John 15:16-17
16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. 17 These things I command you, that you love one another.
NKJV

John 16:22
22 Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.
NKJV

John 16:26-27
26 In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you; 27 for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God.
NKJV

John 17:18-19
19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.
NKJV

Thanks for the prayers, everyone, I'm sure they really need it. She has arrived back in the states for treatment to prevent the return of the cancer. Please continue to pray it will go well.

In an email, I have read that she has an agreesive form of cancer, type "50 50." They found 2 glands/nodes that were hard. They are going to do a catscan and most likely begin quemo. Their insurance company has denied payment thus far, but they are appealing. They have put the costs on their credit card until the issue can be resolved. Needless to say, they need prayers. Their ministry is continuing just fine in spite of this, so that is a praise in spite of this trial that they are going through.

She's now back on in the country that her and her husband are ministering in. Tomorrow is pre-op consultation and tests. She's having surgery on thursday. The blood tests done came back in the normal range, so there's a chance that she might be okay, but prayer is still needed. Her condition after the surgery will determine the radiation/chemotherapy factor.

Please continue to pray for them. They haven't gotten the insurance issue settled yet, and they have a debt of $50,000 dollars on their credit card.

She is now in the process of chemo-therapy. Thankfully, they have been given a car to provide a more comfortable means of transportation to her chemo sessions (they would have to take crowded mass transit otherwise). This means her husband also has to get a driver's license for the particular country that they are in.
