CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Although my prayer is small patatoes compared to the problems of others but I'm having trouble obtaining any sort of peace of late. More than months ago something happened (I wont go into the details) that affected me deeply, as well as my relationship with God. Because of this event I've been having a lot of problems and have become more or less self-centered because of it because its is a very self-centered problem. But I can't shake and ever since this problem came it feels like I'm growing all the more and more selfish and self-centered. And because of this I'm not feeling as close to Christ as I used to. Despite the fact that this event affected me deeply, it is ultimately something very stupid. Please pray that I can get rid of these feelings because I don't want to lose my faith in God over something that is ultimately so STUPID and, in the scheme of things, INSIGNIFICANT!!!

I will also pray. Hopefully your relationship w/ Jesus will become stronger due to this. Everyone has their problems to deal with and this in no exception. Just have faith in God and I know he'll take care of you. I'll be praying.

Nothing compares to You. We allow things to come between us that are not significant although they seem important at the time. Father, I thank You for the freedom You have granted us. The ability we have to choose our own path, even if it takes us away from You. And I thank You more so that You continue reach out to us anyway.

Father, I pray for bigsleepj. Help him to work through his feelings. Feelings are real and can't be simply dismissed, so help him understand his feelings and shape them and mold them into Your image. Help him to work through this time - teach him the lesson he needs to learn to bring him closer to You.
