Will do.
The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.

Worse news. . .we were visiting him earlier today at the hospital. They said that while the angioplasty may work, that he may need a triple bypass because it's really bad. . .:sniffle:

Please keep him and us in your prayers. :sniffle:

By the way, I won't be online so much during this because we only have one phone line and it needs to be kept open.

:sniffle: they said it was even worse than they had expected, and that he is going in for a quadruple bypass at 6:00 tomorrow morning. :sniffle:

Please keep him in your prayers.

Just recently my family was commenting on how we take surgery so for granted. We say, "Aunt Bill had surgery just last week" like it doesn't even matter. A nurse I know was commenting that people don't understand how each surgery is dangerous, and can be a matter of life and death. Though we can't be there to support him, we'll continue to do so with our prayers.

I'm finally able to get here so I'll update you now. . .

Once the surgery began, the doctor saw that it was even worse than they had thought. My father had to have a quintuple heart bypass.

According to the doctors and my mother (who saw him last) he is in as good of condition as can be expected, although he's in the cardiac ICU.

Please keep him and us in your prayers.

Whoa. Definitely will, as always.

His recovery will take some time ... but at least he's pulled through so far!
