Im fealing Really frustrated.

I dont know what I should do next, This being probably the 5th time in my life Ive tried to be right with God again and I went back to the thoughts that have always made me give up. I hear so many different preachings on what the correct way of following the Bible is and wonder about many things, "Faith salvation, or do actions/works count How much so"? "Pride is a sin, What type of pride, How much confidence should I have in myself before it becomes pride"? " "How do I know if my spirit is being lead by God or is mistaken when it comes to selecting a denomination"? "How Do I balance being happy and Loving God and the teachings that I should Fear Him and Judgement"? I Dont want to give up on Christianity again as in the past because Ive felt real joy and know theres something to this so Im Really asking for prayer that I make correct descisions and that God guides them. I really am praying find a good church as I said in a previous post as well.

Will be praying. I've had those problems myself as to meanings and what to do and I think everyone still does from time to time.

Have you tried talking about your questions with a pastor or a Christian whose walk you respect? Or how about making a thread to ask some of those questions? I’m sure there are many members here who would be happy to share their thoughts on these questions (as would I), but this thread is probably not the place for that.

Anyways, I will pray for you. Also, try taking a look at this video of Rich Mullins in concert—he shares about rededicating his life multiple times. It’s humorous, but there are also a lot of great thoughts in it; I hope that seeing someone who was so influential talking about how he had given his life to Christ over and over again can be of some encouragement to you.

Oh, and by the way, it’s normal to have questions that you struggle with; working through those things is part of the walk of faith. No one has everything figured out perfectly. It’s possible to give up trying, but to do so would mean stagnation; wrestling with those things is part of what makes us grow.
