Postby Hitokiri » Fri May 07, 2004 2:32 pm

Just pray for my prom and everyone else whoose having Prom.

Pray for the students safety. Also pray for my safety and Whitneys (my dates) safety as wella s all my friends and allt he students. I know of tons of kids who are planning on getting wasted after Prom. Just pray that they make all the right choices and even if they don't, keep them safe. Defiently one of m friends who has stockpiled up on every single type of alchohol and planning drinking til he passes out. Just ask God to keep him safe and everyone else during Prom, on the roads, and at parties and at After Prom.

That's very thoughtful of you, Hitokiri. I'll remember your request in prayer.

Great thought. I'll prya for that.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Well Prom went well. I had a blast and so did Whitney. From what I've heard, no accidents though at After-Prom, some one broke her ankle.

At Prom though, my friend arrived slightly drunk (you could tell). He ran up and jumped on top of me :eyebrow:

Anyways I had a blast. Thanks everyone for thier prayers.

But continue to pray for Whitney and me. We're kinda stuck in were we want our relationship to go  Though we havnt talked bout it.

When we were dancing (I learned the box dance!) she was telling me about how she was dating this one kid name Ian like last year. Im good friends with Ian an dI knew that but then only dated for a month. She was just telling me how he kinda annoys her and he was there at Prom. Kinda ignoring his date and hanging out with us.

Well she told me she's not planning on dating until he gets out of college or almost done with college. I was like "........" . She then said unless God has something for otherwise.

Now I'm a tad bit cofused weather she likes me or not. From how she acted and what I heard, I kinda got the idea she liked me besides that fact. For instance my mom was talking to her in the bathroom at church and Whit was saying how much fun she had and how she taught me the Box Dance thing but we ran out of time to learn the waltz and the tango but she told my mom she'll teach me that next time. ::blushes::

Also I got 2 movie tickets after a raffle and she said "Hey, maybe later we could use those to go see The Passion or another movie."

Also we've been sitting next to each at church and we decided to go to the Adult Sunday School.

So if you guys can, please pray that we can either remain friends or possibly it coul dbe come a datinf rleationship. One of my friends told us we looked her cute together. We had like 40 pictures taken of ourselves either just us or our friends, we must of looked stoned cause we were tired.

And I had to get up ar 8:30 to go to Sunday School after I fell asleep at 6:30. If I am able to scan some pictures in, I will defiently post them up :)
