Pre-marital sex is a sin - it alone will not cause you to go to hell. One's final destination after death is determined by faith in God, not how many times they sinned or didn't sin.

Of course, needless to say, just because it won't make you go to hell doesn't mean it's alright to do it.

If she's unsaved and she died tomorrow, then there's a good chance she would, since pre-marital sex is a sin and God can't be around sin.

When you die God will judge everyone that comes before him. He will judge not the amount of sin you have, rather just the fact that you have sin. To God sin is sin, no sin is any worse than any other because they are all the same. Pre-marital sex is another sin, but as a christian we would all know that this is a sin, which as webster defines sin as an "Offense against God". So we as christians should not blantantly disregard his laws by commiting sin purposely. But yeah, even if she wasn't saved I seriously doubt that she would go to hell just based on that sin alone. Because from the moment we come into being, we are clothed in sin because of the Adam curse. But if say she was saved and had pre-marital sex, but realized in the end she should have never done that and repents about it she will be right with God. Remember anyone can fall out of God's grace, but anyone can get back into His graces if we acknowledge what we did was wrong and repent for His forgiveness. I really went off track with this, but I hope you get my point.

Very much agree. Just wanted to add quick something to that. Sex itself is not bad, as much as, say, a broom is not bad (ok, maybe not the best analogy, but it's real late). But if sex is used opposite of what God intened (which is to be used after marriage), then not only is it being misused, but it will no doubt leave someone hurt and abandonded. Like a broom that someone might use to seriously hurt someone instead of cleaning up the floor, like it's supposed to be used.......

...I hope that made sense........

I guess a better way to convince your friend is to ask them which they'd rather want: Guilty pleasure or pleasure without guilt?

I would ask her a question back: Why does she want to know? Is she trying to understand God's will and avoid anthing that would stand between herself and Him, or does she just want to know how much she can get away with before God gets mad? Seeing how she answers that would probably show you how to answer the rest.
