My thought life

This is kinda hard to talk about, but I could use some prayer on this issue...

It seems like at times, when I let my mind idle, disgusting or disturbing thoughts will pop into my mind. I certainly don't want them there, but they come in. I'm trying to take more time to spend with God and watching what I let into my mind, and that has helped, but there are still times when these things pop in. Anyway, I was just hoping that you guys might be able to pray for me on this. I could definately use it.

And me as well. Not an uncommon thing I don't think, but still very unpleasant and can be hard because the more you try not to think about it, the worse it can be :/ Not fun stuff :/ So I'll be praying too...

Lifting you up, brother. When these thoughts do come into your head, you might want to try to counter it with a positive thought about God's goodness and blessings. And it's not a sin to simply have these things enter your mind, so try not to beat yourself up over it.
