Brief Description:
Five children save the life of a dog-like alien while at a self-run summer camp. He attempts to reward them by taking them to an alien colony on the Moon. Events take a turn for the worse when his report on the attack that injured him causes passage from the Moon to the Earth to be banned, and children are stranded in space. The children need to find a way back home before camp ends and their parents discover that they are missing. They also have to avoid the poachers that injured their alien friend, and now seem to be stalking them as well.

Violence / Gore: There are a number of sci-fi battles with laser blasts and explosions. Two characters fight with sword-like laser weapons.

Nudity / Sexual Content: Natsuki has a habit of lifting up the tail of some of the alien creatures they meet to look at their behind, it's not of a sexual nature though. The female star of the Space Show occasionally wears low cut tops. The boys are seen in the bath, but everything is covered.

Theological themes: Kiyoshi prays at his home shrine.

Negative themes: A good amount of the plot revolves around a certain plant from Earth that is like a drug to the aliens, the distribution of which is outlawed. One of the kids ends up selling some of it without realising what it really is. At one point Pochi goes gambling on the alien equivalent of a horse race.
